The legendary NBC sketch comedy program Saturday Night Live unveiled its first lineup of celebrity hosts and musical performers on Tuesday, Sept. 20, in advance of the start of its 48th season.

Top Gun actor Miles Teller will take up hosting responsibilities for the season debut of the program on October 1 with musical guest Kendrick Lamar. With his most recent album, Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which debuted at No. 1 on the list dated May28, the musician earned his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Lamar will make his third appearance on SNL.

The next week, on October 8, Irish actor and director Brendan Gleeson will host his first show while musical guest Willow performs. The forthcoming performance will be Willow's debut as a solo performer on Saturday Night Live; the 21-year-old singer previously shared the stage with Camila Cabello to perform their "Psychofreak" duet. On October 6, her new album, "COPINGMECHANISM," will be released.

Finally, Megan Thee Stallion will be performing and presenting Saturday Night Live on October 15 in a double-duty performance. She already performed "Savage" and "Don't Stop" on SNL in 2020 as a musical guest, thus this will be her second time performing there.

On Saturday, October 1 at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC, Saturday Night Live season 48 debuts. Episodes are also available here to view on Hulu. You may join up for a free 30-day trial of the streaming service here at the moment.
